CAA Week
February 16 - 22, 2026
CAA Week is the national week of recognition for the CAA profession. It's a chance to help patients, hospital administrators, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and anesthesiologists to gain a greater understanding and appreciation of CAAs' work.
Celebrating What #CAAre
As part of this year’s CAA Week celebration, we’re inviting CAAs to take part in a special social media campaign focused on the people behind the profession.
CAAs are encouraged to submit:
-
A workplace photo, and
-
A few words that describe what CAAs are — what #CAAre
These photos and traits will be featured throughout CAA Week as we highlight the dedication, skill, and impact of CAAs across the country.
Participation is completely optional, but if you’d like to be included, we’d love to hear from you.
Help Us Spread the Word
Whether you're a CAA, healthcare professional, student, or ally of the profession, your support help amplify the visibility of CAAs and the work they do every day.
Here are a few ways you can help spread the word during CAA Week:
-
Remind your hospital administration to celebrate CAAs as an important part of the anesthesia department
-
Follow the AAAA on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram and share CAA Week posts on your personal accounts
-
Share AAAA resources and educational materials with colleagues and administrators
Coming Soon: The CAA Week Toolkit
